  • Complete your PA MT ethics requirement in a relaxed environment

The design of this workshop is interactive and student driven. Together we will explore the ways in which embodiment of intentional care is ethically crucial. This workshop hopes to inspire the massage professional in a practice deeply rooted in compassion and clarity.

Attendees are requested to wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a favorite simple dish to share.

Cost: $75.  10% of your paid tuition will be donated to the Black Massage Therapist Conference scholarship fund.

Timothy Kocher-Hillmer (they/he), LMT, BCTMB

With life-long experience in music, movement, and ritual, Timothy studied voice and musical composition in college and earned his B.S. in Commerce from DePaul University.  They graduated from PSMT in 2000 and began a practice specializing in bodywork with individuals healing from trauma, abuse, and social stigma.  A massage educator since 2002 Timothy continues to be led by breath, movement & creativity in learning containers.  He seeks to collaborate with bodyworkers and healing artists in creating accessible spaces of welcome for those otherwise are excluded and left out.

He lives with his husband of 36 years on Happy Hill in Pittsburgh where they practice taking the long way home.
